Beautiful hand crafted brooch. The piece depicts a lady's face with a floral garland and sinuous tendrils framing it. The florals are carefully enamelled. She measures 5.5cm/55mm long x 4.5cm/45mm wide. The pin has a roll-over lock. Fully hallmarked. Limited edition piece. We only have one in each colour. Brand new.
A beautifully made little object. The detail is superb. Even the violin pegs move. The pin is secure and has a roll-over safety catch. Hallmarked to the rear of the pin. There is a very tiny flea bite of amber on the bottom (underside) edge that is barely noticeable. A small amount of tarnish. Otherwise immaculate. Always happy to provide further images.
Gladys and Charles Mumford. A beautiful Arts and Crafts silver brooch, Falmouth, Cornwall, circa 1960. There is an indistinct stamp probably marked ‘Silver. In lovely condition with a naturalist shaped leaf and flower and sinuous swirls. 4.4 cm.
This is a vintage 'serigraphy' brooch, from the 1960s/70s and they are almost always unsigned. This one is unsigned but has the distinctive shape of the roll-over pin. It has a pretty pink marbled frame, much nicer in person as it's iridescent with a dusty purple stripe mixed with the pinks. The picture is a micro-mosaic mother-of-pearl effect with the drawing superimposed. The picture is loosely trapped within the frame. The condition of both the picture and the frame is very good, with just minimal signs of use, very light scratching to the back. 5.7cm.
This is a vintage brooch, probably from the 1960s/70s. Signed with impressed mark on the reverse roll-over pin. A little girl wearing a plain black dress with a stunning umbrella with a glittery pink background and a hatched foreground of darker pinks and purples. The condition of the brooch is excellent, with just minimal signs of use. 4.5cm.
A very sweet little vintage brooch. A small flake of enamel loss on the wing and some areas of rubbed colour. Cut crystals set into claw backs. Measures 3cm/30mm wingspan. Pin with a roll-over catch. Good working order. A little time worn but very charming! Metal brass/gold gilt.
Large dragonfly brooch. Plique À Jour enamelled wing in shades of amber. Set with a variety of different coloured crystals/stones. Measures 8.5cm wingspan so quite a large piece. Beautifully made and detailed. It has a safety catch on the back. It is in a oxidised bronze/brass plate. This will arrive boxed.
HULTQUIST. Pretty vintage brooch - we've had this in storage for quite some time thus is regarded a vintage series. It is brand new, the frosted stones have a few rub marks but they have always been there and are only visible hen viewed close-up. Pretty details with enamel, crystals and pearls. Measures approx. 5cm. Safety pin type catch.

A lovely Arts & Crafts brooch. Repousse work with an initial ‘r’ could be a ‘j’ as the pin is placed dead centre on the back. Size 3.8cm. Clear English sterling silver assay hallmarks. Maker W.A & C. Lion passant and the leopard head denoting London and then year is 'N'. I've not looked this up, just that the leopard's head is POST 1920.
Butler & Wilson Brooch. Pig. A nice 3-d shape. Gold plate and Matt silver to body. Pink crystals. Black enamel eye. Some slight wear to the outer gold plated ear and hind outer leg. A small scratch to the silver metal near the tail. Otherwise good condition. It measures 6.5cm. Pin works fine as does the catch. Without the B & W box but will send in a box.
A pretty oval shaped brooch with a trio of finely engraved dog roses and foliage. The hallmark is for Birmingham 1863-64 and the maker T & Co. Possibly Tennent & Co.
Measures 42mm x 18mm x 2mm. It has a fully functioning hinged pin with curved catch. Weighs 3.2g
The condition to the front is virtually perfect, the back has a few dent issues. I haven't over cleaned it as I personally like the darker contrast of the grey oxidisation.
If you would like further images please do ask.
French bakelite brooch made by Marie-Christine Pavone and signed to the back Fitted with a roll safety clasp. Black cat on a white square. As new condition. 7.5cm wide.
A vintage 'Victorian style' mourning brooch in gilt metal with a moulded black glass cabochon that has been 'table cut' to give a high shine very flat finish. White faux pearl decoration. A nicely made piece. 2.7cm.
A very nice quality double headed thistle brooch. This piece is most certainly vintage as it has a back pin catch that pre-dates the roll-over catch. Pre-1960. Beautifully cast and finished. The heads are most probably amber coloured facet cut glass.

Weighs 18.4g. Marked 'Silver Scotland'.
Condition is lovely. Possibly unused. The safety chain was missing so we popped a new one on.

A stunning David Andersen, Norway, leaf brooch. White pearl enamel, silver gilt. The 'w' indicate designer: Willy Winnaess (active 1950s). All clearly marked on the underside. The pin & clasp predates the roll-over designs and thus this piece is pre-1960s.
Weight 8.4 g
Size:7cm.
Condition: No issues. It's perfect, gold gilt over 925 sterling silver. It's rare to find them in this untouched state! They tend to be polished down to silver. It has been in my collection for a long time and I've rarely cleaned it. Cleaning would bring it up beautifully but it also reduces the gilt cover. In truth it doesn't look tarnished in the flesh, it's just the camera lights that show everything. I do have high quality, non abrasive, gold cleaning cloths, should you require this cleaned before sending, please do request this, I will happily do so. Once clean, pop in an airtight bag, this prevents oxidization.
A pretty costume brooch, the wings are Plique-à-jour style, done with acrylic resins. The colours are amber, turquoise and yellow. Set with crystals in amber, blue and colourless. The metal is brushed bronze coloured metal. Back pin with roll-over clasp.

Condition: in brand new unused condition.
A nice original H.L.I ( Highland Light Infantry ) cap badge that has been mounted on a mother-of-pearl disc, sterling silver rim and converted into a badge at some point.
